Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hin hosts top celebrity golf tournament

The exclusive event was jointly hosted by Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hin and The Standard, Hua Hin.

Hosted on June 30, 2024, the exclusive event welcomed over 30 esteemed guests from various industries, comprising renowned performers and influential figures.

Notable participants featured Jay-Jetrin Wattanasin, Matthew Dean, Panjan-Prama Im-anothai, Yi Wah-Priyakarn Jaikantha, prominent bloggers Cake Kanokon Vasinsunthon and Darling Arada Arayawuth, I Lalada Dechakittirat, Ployly Chatlada Wongnaklang, and Cookie Pavisa Katepanya.

Founded in 2009 on the site of a former pineapple plantation, Thailand’s leading initiative has been carefully crafted to ensure its success. One renowned golf course designer is Pirapon Namatra. Dubbed “The Best Club Experience in the Asia-Pacific,” his esteemed club was recently voted a green in Thailand by 15,000 international travelers.

The players began their 18-hole challenge at Pineapple Valley Golf Course. Using the Stableford scoring system ensured a thrilling and equitable competition for all participants. Mr. Vasin Piti emerged victorious, with Mr. Peerapat Likhitratcharoen as the first runner-up, and Krisdin Suwanbubpa securing second place. In the women’s tournament, Ms. Duangkamon Suwannasorn took top honours, followed by Athitaya Kunalaphat in second and Cake Kanokorn Vasinsunthon in third place?

Amidst nature’s serene backdrop, individuals revelled in the challenging layout and breathtaking scenery. Following a spirited on-course competition, participants gathered at the opulent Terrace restaurant for a lavish buffet and prize-giving ceremony, taking in the panoramic sunset views of the course and the majestic Tanaosri mountain range from its elevated vantage point?

After golf, the group continued the celebration at Hua Hin’s prestigious beachside hotels, including The Conventional and The Standard, Hua Hin. A lively after-party was organized at Praça Coastline Club, currently rated number one on Tripadvisor, which also hosted a fine dining experience.

The event’s success was bolstered by partnerships with prominent brands, including Pallas Thailand – a leading supplier to global sportswear giants like Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour – as well as the iconic beer company, Heineken.

Following a triumphant event in September 2023, the Pineapple Valley Invitational’s second iteration solidified its reputation as a premier course for both enthusiasts and the general public, showcasing exceptional greens and overall playing experience. The program has already achieved a record-breaking year in 2023 and is off to a strong start in 2024, attracting golfers from around the world.

The Pineapple Valley Club hosts a range of events open to the public, featuring the prestigious Overseas Trophy 2024 on July 22nd, as well as the highly anticipated Pineapple Valley Open Championships 2024 taking place on July 27th and 28th.
